About the Program

Technology, economics, politics, society: Every aspect of our world is changing faster than ever before. And from multinational conglomerates to small boutiques, more organizations are at risk for failure than any point in history. We—companies, teams, and human beings—must change too. We know this. It's why we launch innovation programs, design change initiatives, and roll out new strategies. We all want to build a bridge to the future.

The good news: We know that we need to accelerate our ability to change. The bad news: Most of us are doing it wrong.

Matt Johnson of The Frontier Project reveals the transformative power of story. Leveraging his experience as a published author and corporate storyteller, Matt explains how storytelling can be your bridge to a brighter future. Whether you’re an organization facing disruption, a team in conflict, or a person feeling lost in your career, Matt’s case studies and exercises will introduce you to the tools you need to write (and live) your new story.

About the Speaker

Trained mathematician, former frontman of a punk rock band, Pentagon policymaker, and nonfiction author who performs his book live. There’s no fitting Matt Johnson into any sort of box.

Equal parts left-brained strategist and creative troubadour, Johnson is a lead consultant at The Frontier Project. When you want to zoom in to understand the details and then back out to discover a new way to put the puzzle together. For Matt, that simplicity is not just a buzzword; it's a lifestyle. Fueled by a need to do, say, and be more with less, Matt drinks his coffee black, keeps his emails short, loves his music live, and tries to listen more than he talks.
