Heightened response efforts to COVID-19 are underway throughout our region. As concerned citizens, we all are adjusting our schedules and daily habits in efforts to help mitigate the risk and spread of coronavirus.

Join us for a speechwriting workshop with local speechwriter and communications consultant Wendy Martin.

Speechwriting is an art that regional speechwriter and communications consultant Wendy Martin (http://www.w-comm.net/) has spent 15 years perfecting. Martin has written more than 500 speeches – everything from minutes-long award acceptances and clever introductions to commencement remarks and keynote addresses on topics ranging from corporate responsibility to leadership. Her speeches have been delivered to audiences in venues across the nation, as far away as Prague and even on an aircraft carrier. Join us for this professional development workshop as Martin shares her speechwriting best practices with PRSA Richmond.

The workshop is open to PRSA members, non-members and students, and will be held at will be held at Dominion Payroll, located at 3200 Rockbridge Street, Suite 300, Richmond, VA, 23230. We’ll kick off the meeting with a networking session and light refreshments from 8 to 8:30 a.m., and the session will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Seating is limited. Registration costs are $30 for PRSA members, $50 for non-members and $10 for students.

Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first served basis. Advance payment with a credit card is highly preferred but checks and cash will be accepted at the door. If you register, please plan to attend – refunds are not available unless three business days’ notice is given, and no shows will be invoiced.
